Click "Upload photos" and select as many images as you like — JPEG, PNG, HEIC, and other common formats all work.
Decide how many images go on each page, or set an exact grid (columns × rows) if you want more control. Switch between portrait and landscape orientation for the whole document.
Drag any image into any cell to reorder it. Click the "+" on an empty cell to add a caption, a block of text, or another image directly into that spot. Nothing has to stay in upload order.
Choose from a few page background options if you don't want plain white — useful for printing something with a bit more character.
Click "Generate PDF" and your document downloads immediately. Nothing is saved on the server — your images and the finished PDF are both deleted automatically the moment the download completes. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Yes — no account, no payment, no limits beyond reasonable technical ones (up to 50 images per PDF, 15MB per image).
Yes, though for the more fiddly parts — dragging images between cells — a larger screen is more comfortable.
Hello — I'm the person behind Pile it up.
This is a small tool I built for myself, mostly, because I kept running into the same annoying little problem: I'd have a handful of photos scattered around and just want them in one document, quickly, without opening a design app or signing up for yet another account somewhere.
So I built Pile it up. It does one thing — turns your images (and text, if you want) into a clean PDF — and it does it fast, without asking anything of you first.
I'm putting it online for anyone to use freely. No account, no catch, nothing saved on my end once your PDF is done.
If you run into something broken, or have an idea for what would make it better, I'd genuinely like to hear it — see the Contact page.

This is a one-person project, so replies won't be instant, but I do read everything.

Pile it up lets you upload images and arrange them into a PDF, without creating an account.
Like virtually all websites, the server hosting pileapp.me may automatically record basic technical information for every request — such as IP address, browser type, and time of access — for security and troubleshooting purposes. This is separate from your uploaded files and is standard web server behavior, not something specific to Pile it up itself.
Pile it up may display advertisements served by Google AdSense on pileapp.me. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, which can include use of your IP address and other technical identifiers.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Since Pile it up doesn't retain uploaded files or account data, there is generally nothing to request deletion of beyond what standard server logs may briefly contain. This policy may be updated as Pile it up changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.
